The Rose Bowl Inter-Society Competition

EACH AFFILIATED society shall allow at least one evening during each season for short papers and displays by members which shall be judged on their merits within the Society; the best of which shall then be forwarded to the North Western Federation (by a specified date which shall be made known to all affiliated Societies) on behalf on that Society, for entry into the Rose Bowl Competition.

1. The competition shall be held annually, confined to members of Societies affiliated to the North Western Federation, and limited to one entry from each Society, that being the winner of the Society’s own competition.

2. The General Rules shall apply.

3. Each entry shall consist of 9 sheets selected from the winning Society entry.

4. Each entry shall indicate on the entry form whether or not is basically:

(a) a study of a stamp or stamps

(b) postal history

(c) thematic

and will be judged according to the mark allocation for the senior trophy of the same name.
