2008 Financial Report

Federation funds increased during the financial year by £919.69, due to income exceeding expenditure by £628.69, which was largely generated by the income of £800 from the Packets. A further donation of £288 was kindly sent by Birkenhead Society and members of that Society on closing which was acknowledged both with gratitude and sadness on the closing of a long established Society.

The Federation would like to thank every Secretary and Treasurer for their help during the last year with prompt payments of subscriptions, but also to the vendors and purchasers, Packet Secretaries of the Packet which generate our income.

It is noted that only 14 Societies take the Federation Packet, and it would be a great help if more Societies could join in.
